UNLeashed: day one
DAY 1 - PHASE 1: ARRIVAL
Stability Imprint
This first phase is around arrival. This isn't about pushing. This isn't about figuring it all out. And it definitely isn’t about using force to make things happen.
It's about coming home to yourself. Making your body a safe space to land.
Before the horse unleashes, it returns to the stable. The stable is where it's safe, where it's fed, where it's grounded. Where it rests and gathers strength before it runs.
You can't unleash without first being stable.
You must feel grounded.
And this idea of safety, security… it's not just an idea. It's not just a notion. It's not something you can just keep thinking about so that it will happen.
It's a sensation in your body. It's a feeling. It's an inner knowing.
Today we're creating an imprint of what stability feels like in your body so you can recognize it. And when you're triggered, you can realize it and return to it.
Stability is a natural state. And what we're doing today is helping you remember that.
This is the foundation. This is the practice you can come back to whenever you need!
Recommended Setup:
Find a quiet space where you won't be interrupted
Sit in a chair with both feet flat on the ground, cross-legged on the floor, or propped up on your bed
Have a notebook nearby for journaling after
Optional: Hold a crystal (quartz is great for grounding and stability)
You can pause at any point if you need to take a break and reflect
YOUR PRACTICE FOR TODAY
After listening to the audio, here's what to do:
Notice one moment today where you lose stability.
When you brace. When you tense. When you go into protect mode.
Just notice it. Don't judge it. Don't beat yourself up.
Just notice: "Oh. There it is. I'm tensing."
Then, if you can, do this:
Press your feet (or legs) into the ground
Lengthen your spine
Soften your jaw
Place your hand over your stability center
Inhale
Exhale
Say: "This is what stable feels like."
That's the practice. You're teaching your body that it can come back to stability at any time. Even in the middle of a busy day or a moment of stress.
Stability is natural and always here for you!
JOURNAL PROMPTS
After the audio and practice, journal on these:
1. What would stability feel like in my body, specifically?
Not what you think it should feel like. Not what it looks like for someone else. What would it actually feel like for YOU?
2. If I moved through my day from that sensation, what would change?
How would you walk into a room? How would you respond to a challenging email? How would you speak about your work?
3. What decisions would I stop overthinking?
If you were truly stable, what would you just KNOW?
4. What would I no longer tolerate?
What stops being okay when you're grounded in stability?
5. What would I no longer chase?
What are you pursuing out of fear or lack? What would you let come to you instead?
6. What would I trust?
If stability was your baseline, what becomes possible?
